Classic Caesar Salad

Ingredients

1/2 Cup Mayonnaise
2 Tsp Anchovy paste
1/2 Tsp garlic - minced
2 Tbsp lemon juice
1/2 tsp coarse ground black pepper
2 heads Romaine lettuce - cleaned and cut
3/4 Cup croutons
1/2 Cup fresh shredded Parmesan Cheese

Combine mayonnaise, anchovy paste, lemon juice, garlic, and pepper in a large bowl, and mix well.  Add chopped romaine lettuce, croutons and toss until well coated.   Divide salad onto 4 plates and top with parmesan cheese.  Serve immediately.

This salad can be topped with boneless chicken white meat and served as an entree if desired.
